Scope and Contents The portraits of the Presidents of the Academy are arranged chronologically in the reading room of the library; other portraits are hung in the sixth floor of the stacks and a few are to be found in various departments within the Academy. A list of personalities with the name of the painter, when known, and other pertinent information was prepared in 1948 and typed for the files.
